Achievements not working

I just finished the arena questline and the last achievement i got was to get gladiator rank not for becoming hero or beating the quest.

just joined the fighters guild still no achievements.

Did you use console commands? They disable achievements

Have you , at any time, used the console? or installed mods?

i haven't used any console commands on my character so i dont know why the achievements aren't working.

I just made a new character and did not open the console nor do i have mods, and its still not working. I did on my first but i am unsure if i have to delete Everything or uninstall and re download.

I went back to and older save and joined the fighters guild and got the achievement look at your saves and see if there's an achievement icon with that a crack in it that means achievements are disabled and i went to my oldest save just after i left the sewer and joined the fighters guild and it unlocked.
