Maybe a potion will help
to cure your vampirism you'll need to complete a quest

That's not how it works. You fought against vampires at some point and was infected. You should always check if you have a disease called Porphyric Hemophilia after fighting vampires. Only cure is a very long quest! Good luck!

Dude i know... and I was trying to freakin speedrun the game to be done with it as fast as i can to move on to other games.

Now i gotta deal with this garbage.

Have you found a solution ?
Go to the Vile Lair player house and use the font of renewal to just instant remove vampirism if you can't handle the power

One does not simply speedrun Porphyric Hemophilia.

The solution is to pay attention when you're fighting vampires. Once infected you have to cure it fast (within a few days), or it becomes permanent and very difficult and lengthy to cure (See link from Coffee Addict further up)
Either a super annoying boring questline or start a new save :P
Embrace the darkness.
Hey at least you just take damage instead of blowing up like all other vampires do. You are the envy of the vampire world.

That is how it works, there are 3 ways to become a vampire.

Yeah, they've reduce it to a click. It's on the south east shore, underwater, near some sunken buildings. Can cure vampirism any time you want. The quest line though, is fun, with great writing for one NPC and I recommend it. Skingrad.

I do enjoy seeing new players finding out about the wonders of Oblivion.
Maybe it wouldn't have happened if your neck didn't look so delicious.

It's zombie rules. A single scratch can infect you - And the game does give you a popup warning you that you've contracted it (which is nice, more than what most zombie games do)
