Game wont launch
This is what i get in windows event viewer when i try to launch the game. Any ideas on how to fix?

Had nearly the same issue, tried a bunch of stuff. For some reason, disabling the "OpenGLShExt Class" (using ShellExView) fixed it

having the same issue, how did you locate the problem with Oblivion Remastered in event viewer? Tried looking for my problem in event viewer earlier and could not find anything

ucrtbase.dll is linked to Microsoft Visual C++
some say repairing/reinstalling all of them may resolve it

im having the same exact problem. but i dont have the tech to understand what you guys are saying is the fix.

try running the setups again :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2022\VC_redist.x64.exe and VC_redist.x86.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us\UEPrereqSetup_x64.exe
