Can they resist...?

Do you think they can resist re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-releasing Skyrim in this new engine?

Do you think Bethesda has enough restraint to not meme itself into... oblivion... by just asking Virtuous to ship the engine over to Skyrim?

They wont release Skyrim anymore in any sauce. That has been said already after AE been released.

I'd love to see Morrowind remastered, but i don't see them remastering Skyrim any time soon. Maybe in another decade. Oblivion is 20 years old or so, Skyrim hasn't reached that yet. But we'll see.

Problem with morrowind it wasnt realeased during the PEAK-RISE of gaming time during 2005-2010, especially with the next gen consoles like PS3 and XBOX 360

I'd love a new game for these new gen consoles instead of remakes of games 20 years old. Games suck nowadays and its always P2P crap or live action zoomer food. They could have put this energy into working on Skyrim 6.

new games will always suck since investment comes from nasty comps and with big agendas. Back then game design had so much freedom, now its all about sending political BS!

skyrim doesn't need a remake since it's graphics are already photorealistic to begin with

the graphics are significantly higher fidelity than oblivion's, and any lacking fidelity can be enhanced with free modifications to make it look on par with the new remaster, while running 100x faster, and on much cheaper and older hardware.

They already announced that they're doing a remaster of their 1991 NES game, Home Alone, with UE5 to bring it to modern PCs and consoles.
No. They didn't.
