i downloaded it 4 times now and it will not install i have tried different download locations
still nothing installs and there is plenty of space on my SSD

no error popups on downloads page it says download failed corrupt update files and no files actuality in game folder they are staged in the downloads folder

Is it that literally as opposed to you implying that's what it says ?

Did you try to clear download cache in Steam settings ?
Also, have you checked if your antivirus is not blocking game files ?
You can whitelist both ".\SteamApps\Common\" and ".\SteamApps\Downloading\" directories from AV scan.

I i did clear the cash and re down loaded it the only antivirus is the windows defender ill check that

im going to try moving the install folder to a different drive and see if that works

still will not install completely i have tried to verify the files and clear cash files
still corrupt update files

i got it had to move the downloaded files to a different drive and re validate them that let it complete i have never had that happen before i would not install on that 2TB SSD i moved it to a disk drive and it installed
