Terrible performances + stutters + smearing + draw distance ?
Hello,

As usual with the AWFUL Unreal 5 and the just AS awful creation engine, it's full of problems. But to an absurd point ! Does the game run well for you ?
I get UNDER 60 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FPS at 1440p ultra UPSCALED (quality settings) with an RTX 5080, 9800X3D and 32GO of 6000Mhz ram. Basically the second best GPU in the world ex aequo with overclock and best CPU...and it runs like ♥♥♥♥.

Also, with framegen to be relatively smooth, the smearing is INSANE. The pop in is terrible too as it always is with Creation Engine.

I'm so tired of this ♥♥♥♥. My computer is worth 3000+ euros...

I had the good idea to buy it outside of steam thinking a REMASTER of a 2006 game would run well on the most expensive PC you can imagine.
My computer is definitely not as good as yours is, but it's definitely above the minimum requirements (RTX 3700, i9-10900F, 32 GB RAM, Game is on an SSD), and I get terrible FPS on everything set to low at 1920x1080, lol!

huh my 3070 and i7 run it fine.
i do turn off the lumen thing though. ray tracing is stupid, and for stupid people

Optimize your settings a bit, I also have 5080 and at native 3440x1440, DLAA, mix of ultra and high settings, software RT at low I can play at locked 60fps without drops.
Or unlocked and its around 75 in open world, 130 with frame gen

It's always seeing people that spent so much on hardware realise that it was a waste of money because the software is subpar. :steamhappy:

Must be some other issue on your system.
Running fine for me, 60+ fps outside, much higher inside at 1920x1200, everything on Ultra, DLSS Quality, Lumen Hardware RT High, no Frame generation.

RTX 4070 Ti Super, Ryzen 5900X, 32GB DDR4, game is on a PCIe3 NVMe SSD.
Windows 10, older driver 572.49.

I also manually added DLSS4 Support with Transformer Model K using DLSS Swapper and nVidia Profile Inspector.
The game runs fine for me. Using a 5950X and an RX 6900 XT overclocked out of the factory. Get between 60 to 75 fps with everything on Ultra(including software RT) on FSR Balanced. No frame gen. I also would like to add that I am running this on Linux, so there is less OS bloat unlike Windows.

Another "ur system issue" UE5 enjoyer
Classic UE5 slop quality
UE5 is the problem here once again. Just like every other game released on this engine. Most of them have the same problems. Constant stuttering despite high fps, sluggish mouse movement in certain areas. My 4070 Ti super can reach 100 fps with DLSS quality in the outside world. But that doesnt mean the experience is enjoyable. I get constant stuttering, extremely inconsistent frametimes and 1-2 second freezes when I open the menu or inventory when not inside a dungeon. So for now I will wait for patches and fixes that they will hopefully deliver.
Unreal engine in all of it's glory. When epic introduced the changes in fortnite, I downloaded it to test it and I was shocked at how awful it looks and how demanding it has become. I knew from that moment forward we are in for a treat for this generation
