I found the invisible dude the lady asks me about and nothing happens he chases me away saying that I will ruin everything, his friend after I bribe him asks me to steal a spellcraft book from the headmaster drawer, promising me to help in finding jskar but after I steal the book the dialogue related to that missing one is not there so I cannot progress....

Is there a location marker? He's supposed to ask you to be in a room downstairs at 10pm. If you are still stuck then setstage command may help.

It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage MG06Bruma stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.

I solved it, the problem was that I was speaking with that volanto or whatever name he has in the same room where the invisible guy was and he didn't said to meet him after 10 PM after few loads I spoke with him upstairs and after he told me the other dialogue option.

Things are even worse for me, there is no offer to steal the book in the dialogue, and that "invisible" Khajiit has long been completely visible
