Security Grinding Glitch

Was playing the game and accidentally pressed spacebar on a tumbler I already set in the security minigame, but heard the skill rank up sound. Out of curiosity I pressed it a few more times and heard it again.

Looks like Security levels off of tumbler completion, not lock completion, but it doesn't check if you just set the tumbler of the lock, just if the tumbler is set when you press the set tumbler button. Meaning you can spam on a completed tumbler and rank up security on potentially the very first lock in the game.

I'm unsure if this works for very easy locks, since the only time I've done it so far was on a lock that was Easy with two tumblers out of place. Maybe it only checks for if the tumbler is done or if it's a tumbler the player has to interact with to set. Others can verify, but until they patch it enjoy your easy levels and easier Security 100.

Another one is going to the Imperial Prison, ask to see a prisoner and the guard will open the door and follow you down, when you reach the prisoner ask the guard to visit a prisoner again and he will walk away, you can then crouch and hit E over and over until your sneak skill hits 100 by pickpocketing the prisoner.

Well, we could also just toss a console command and get all max skills in like 15s.

That said, this could be fun for the console players. Though, not sure why they would be here on a steam forum.

That's just oblivion and most games, if you use it to level then you're skyrocketing your level, meaning you're causing everyone else to scale up against you. If you level stealth or security to get up to level 10, everything is going to suddenly deal way more damage and have better weapons and more health. It's very much not the way you should play the game, but if you wanna break it, the option is there.
