Issues with looting/picking things up?

Is anyone else having issues with looting or moving things? It feels like the game struggles to decide if I'm trying to HOLD the loot button to move an object or just tap it to pick it up.

When I tap it the game like rotates the object to face the direction I am and then I have to press E again to pick it up.

And when I hold E to move it using physics it like... just flashes the interact button a bunch of times until it finally decides to let me pick it up and move it.

Is anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

Reloading wasn't fixing it, but then I made a new character and it was working fine. I reloaded after that into my original character and now it's working fine there too

Who knows :/
