Quest in Anvil Bugging

I've come across one quest so far in Anvil that is softlocked by bugs.

"A Rat Problem" ~ Quill-Weave pats around the house where she is supposed to place food for starving lions. However, she never places the food and proceeds to walk away.

i just did this i waited just out side behind the house and pretty much when night was falling she finally came and did it, i thought it was bugged as well, don't bother following her just wait near behind the house, hope this helps.

Spam Bethesda support with "Release Unofficial Patches to all platforms". It fixed all these bugs decades ago.

when I did this quest she was all the way up in bruma lol, so I fast traveled up there, found her sneak walking around, followed her till she went out of the city, fast traveled back to anvil went outside to front gate and watched the marker of her, used wait and watched her come all the way back to anvil to place the meat... she sneak walked all the way across the map xD

Yeah I followed her by road all the way to Skingrad.....

This is the second "remastered quest" with a bad bug.

Had this issue too. I reloaded a save and it was fixed for me when I waited for her around 8pm and by running in and out of the trigger while she kneeled down

She also visits a friend in chorrol once a month which sometimes confuses players because she is in the wrong city.

Ya she travels to Chorrol once a month and can become incapacitated temporarily along the way any number of times..

I didn't have any problems with her triggering, I did have a few crashes when fighting the mountain lions in the actual basement. Reloaded the last save and it fixed itself.

In my game she just wandered around Anvil for days. Eventually, she got to it, just be patient :-)

People have been "patiently" waiting for a fix for twenty years......
Yeah reload one of the autosaves after exiting the house until it points behind the house, probably best at night.

Quill-Weave will only start placing the meat at around 8 pm. You can follow her around for hours if you start in the morning and she won't do a thing until evening.

I just finished the quest without any issues.
It was evening, when I left Arvena's house, so I almost bumped immediately into a sneaking Quill-Weave.

If she starts sneaking, just follow her and she'll put the rotten meat in place.
