The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

No official mod support - baffling.
I genuinely demand an explanation from a business POV.

Bethesda has not had a single substantial W in over a decade (Fallout 4, 2015) and exclusively survives on the back of its modding ecosystem.

Not only is there no support, they've put things in place to actually make it harder to mod this game.

Is there any explanation, beyond simple transparent egoism, that can explain why they seem to go out of their way to continue to make life hard for the people who keep their IPs and company alive, and continue to generate demand for their product (for free)?

Ask the ones who made the remaster.

Elder scrolls games NEVER launch with mod tools, it always take months and months and months before Bethedsa release them.
There's no OFFICIAL support because it was not made by them and providing that support was likely not a part of Virtuos' contract. That's not to say there's no support, it's just this game was literally made differently, so they can't give you the tools they made it with. Modders can and already have figured it out, it's just you're taking on the responsibility of not bricking your computer with them (and that was also always the case anyway).

They outright stated it will never have support. Not that its delayed.
Once again one of these posts by someone who clearly hasn't been to Oblivion Remastered Nexus yet.

P.S. They give us the tools but they have ALWAYS said on release of each game that modding is not officially supported so if someone's mod breaks the game they can't be held officially responsible.

Who cares, don't like it? Don't buy it, always have OG Oblivion. 99.9% of my mods for OG Oblivion where bug fix's and visual enchantments, which this remaster takes care of and then some.
