I cant open the gate to the sewers?
I'm pressing e like a madman but the gate wont open and wont let me continue onward. Is this happening to others too? Any solutions?

Is it a gate, or one of those giant steel doors that you have to activate with one of those nearby valves?

Wait till you get to Level 10 and then go get the skeleton key from Nocturnal. It can open the level 5 gate.

In the room where the King/Emperor died. There was a secret door that opened where bad guy that came out and killed the Emperor. That is where you go. It is not the iron gate doorway from that room. It's a small narrow passage that opened up in the wall.
