Save Game Bug?? Saves are on laptop and ROG ally but nothing shows up on desktop
I have a gaming laptop, an ROG Ally X, and a desktop (not really for gaming but I put a couple on there). I play mostly on my ROG, and laptop when I travel. However, I just tried loading the game yesterday on my desktop. The save files are not there. They sync between the other two computers but this one doesn't pick them up. Any ideas what's happening?

I still can't get this figured out. Hoping someone has suggestions. Tried doing the verifying file integrity through steam, tried uninstalling and reinstalling on a different drive. Still can't play from my cloud save on my desktop PC (no issues on other games). My other computers all see the save files.
The problem for me was that my cloud saves are in OneDrive and the game is looking in my local Documents folder. If this is your issue here's the solution:

On your desktop go to "C:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved" and delete the SavedGames folder

Run Command Prompt as administrator and run this command but substitute your windows username:

mklink /D "C:\Users\[YourName]\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames" "C:\Users\[YourName]\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames"

While I 100% agree that the developers have to fix this, this workaround worked for me. Thank you!

I went to One Drive, then click the wheel, settings, manage back up, and then click off the documents. Exit out and my saves worked across my Pc, laptop, steam deck, and rog ally. I had to do this for my pc, laptop and ally and cloud saves have worked since. It's a quick and easy fix till a patch. Have fun!
