Price between regions wrong.
The game is $49.99 in USD. But it is £49.99 in GBP for some reason this clearly has to be a mistake since £50 is $60 equivalent. So that means if you're in UK you're spending an extra £10 than you really should for literally 0 reason.

Is there included VAT or something like that? Don't forget that we like to throw taxes in, after the fact, at checkout in the USA.

no nothing to do with VAT at all.
Look at the last of us 2 remastered that just came out. It's $49.99 but in the uk it's appropriately priced at £39.99 as this game should be.

We're the one getting the highest price out of every single region on steam with polish zloty close second.
I dunno if this helps but its 16% off on Greenmangaming.

Wanna buy it in Switzerland? It's even more.
Its 54.26 USD in Aus with conversion.
I just noticed this too - 50 dollars in US; 50 quid in UK - which, as others have pointed out is not the same. Maybe its something to do with those pesky tariffs?

No it's not, UK is the most overcharged one for the game, just look on price history on steam db and the adjusted prices and % between.
Swiss Franc is spending $64.96 USD whilst GBP you're spending $66.52

Regional steam prices are regularly screwed up. Bethesda just accepted all of Steams broken recommendations and called it a day.
Because people buy it. That's the only reason that matters.

Guess what? You can't control people. They're gonna do what they're gonna do. Nobody's going to be some forum prophet to educate the masses. You can give up that dream.

Since you can't control the market, just wait for a sale or don't. That's all you can do.

this isn't a steam issue this is microsoft's issue since they've priced this on all platforms like this too.

That’s hilarious. Well wherever they got their recommendations from, it’s from someone who sucks at their job, so I can definitely see that source being Microsoft as well.

yes! overcharging a region to the next bracket of game pricing for no reason should not be met with criticism at all! Get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brain. This absolutely has nothing to do with markets at all.

I suggest just getting the game on CD Keys or etc. since they're actually putting the price as US's prices. i.e £39.99

Well, a certain someone wants a tariff on everything even though it takes years just to design a factory and that's even before it's built. Then other places say "Fine, you want to tariff us, here's one back."
