Another Quest Bug: Ahdjari's Heirloom

Looks like the bugs as described here are still present; https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Ahdarji%27s_Heirloom#Ring_Issues

The ring doesn't appear in the box while the countess is sleeping. That's just the weirdest part:

Reportedly, if the countess is sleeping on the left-hand side of the bed, this bug is likely to happen.

Gonna try and wait a few more days again but man, that's really annoying.
I like having all the fun glitches in the game but they could have fixed at least the quest breaking bugs.

Edit: Fixed after about 14 in game days of waiting in front of the palace ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Same issue, did you just randomly keep waiting and the quest popped as completed, or did you keep checking if she swapped side of the bed? lol

edit: I just kept waiting 24 hours, revisiting the jewellery box and eventually it spawned.

99.99% of all the vanilla Oblivion bugs are still in the game. Shame, shame, shame!

Yeah on my end the countess literally is never in bed at all. It's like after midnight in game and she just never shows or is sleeping.

I had the same issue and decided to pass time by doing The Collector. After about 8 dungeons, enough time had passed for the Countess to visit her mother and come back. The ring was then in the right place.

Is anyone having issues with opening the secret passage door and then it won’t let you go through? It’s like it’s blocking you.

It did, but all I did was back off, shut it again, and reopen it.

I went outside and waited 24 hours and found her in bed, on the left. The ring was in the box.
