Gamers are so brainwashed into thinking that unreal 5 is this best game engine ever made, they still cant recover from seeing that unreal engine 5 demo when it first appeared. The performance of this engine is hot garbage. Unless you own a 4080+ gpu you are cooked. MY 3060ti cant get a stable 40-50 fps in this game and the fps in the open world feels like 20ish. Gamers need to stop flexing their money and expensive graphics cards and realise that not everyone has a high end gpu and not everyone can afford it. They could of chosen any other engine but why did it had to be this god awful unreal engine 5...

Rasterization performance pretty much peaked with the Nvidia 2000 series/AMD equivalent. Doesn’t matter if you have a 3000, 4000, or 5000 series nowadays, they are all pretty much the same and just get better at creating fake frames that look less like garbage every generation.

but can't you just play on low/medium settings and get good FPS with a cheap GPU? try disabling the software lumen by tweaking the .ini or getting the lumen begone mod.

the funny thing is skyblivion looks actually better than this remastere. take a look at the 4k skyblivion trailer it looks much more true to the source material, much more clean and colorful. screw this remaster that i cant even play on an rtx 3000 grahpics card. skyblivion will stomp this game.

if lowering your settings did not work you got a bottlenck somewhere else cpu or memory troughput or just some system config that don't like each other

Of course it's garbage, it's there for the sole purpose of forcing consumers to move up in terms of GPU generations.
