my female char sounds like a guy

greetings, i started playing today, but my female character sounds like a guy when i get hit. I didnt see a option for the voice when creating the character. What is this?

Did you pick a dark elf, high elf, or an Argonian? Their voices have been pretty deep when grunting for attacks and pain.

The OG female voices were pretty husky, not sure if they added any new voices but they always sounded pretty manly. Now that you mention it though I didn't see a voice option when creating my character either. It was definitely there in the original. I always hated how the female voices sounded in the original but I don't think I've heard my character make a sound yet at all now that I think about it. Maybe something is bugged with the voices. I'd rather have it off than have the original voice anyway.

if you mean my disscussion as a whole, sadly not. I really thought that my game is bugged and my character has a male voice. Didnt remember that they sound like that in the original

The reason is that you picked the Origin (on the race select screen) that is tied to a female voice. Devs forgot to move the voices over to body types when they changed things up.
