Suggestions for HUD and photomode
Hi

I am enjoying the game again as I did back in 2006, and it's a great remaster. The game plays a lot better in certain areas and looks stunning. However a small suggestion is to allow us players to remove elements of the HUD. A bit of a pet peeve of mine is the crosshair and the compass that can't be turned off. If theres any consideration to do this officially I would also love to make a suggestion to add an official photo mode. This would allow us to not only alter the user interface or turn some or all of it off, but would also let us capture the beauty of this remaster. Thank you for letting me relive some of my fondest childhood gaming memories with this remaster.

Yes, thank you this might help. Good of you to write it out if someone have a similar question. I use this command myself, but I would like an official mode across the different plattforms. Perhaps they might add it down the line. I would also love to be able to shut off certain HUD-elements in the settings menu. There are a few mods out to remove the compass.

Do you know of any mods that removes the crosshair by any chance? I have yet to find one. Perhaps with some luck I can create one myself untill or if they add the option. I remember the vanilla game had a fantastic toggle mod for this.

havent seen one, BUT i havent looked at the OG mods yet. the Remastered is running OG Oblivion with UE5 only being used to replace textures and audio. fhat means, with a bit of work, you can port over some of the OG mods by manually installing them - the file structure isn't different, but it is buried by a few extra folders. the only restriction is the mod needs to use in-game assets - mods with custom or new assets won't work because UE5 is replacing the assets

that also means the Oblivion Construction Set (the official modding tools for OG Oblivion) can still be used to create mods for the Remaster version
True, it sounds doable... thanks for the information. I will take a look during the weekend to see if I can make something happen.

Those commands don't work in the remaster. I tried them, and they do nothing. when typing tm it says the menus are off, but they are not. tfc does nothing either.

Here is a list of the ones that I know of... are there more of them that do not work for you?
