Selling to Merchants? It feels like a bug...
So I'd been doing a whole lot of alchemy, and had a big stack of 'Restore Fatigue potions selling for 12 gold apiece (with haggling). The merchant only had 50 gold. Fine.

So I sold 4 of the potions for 48. My gold increased, but the merchant's gold stayed at 50. I ended up selling all of those potions, 4 at a time.

That just seems like a bug.

It's not a bug, it's intentional. Thats how the shops in OG Oblivion worked. :zagsnooze:

OK... I haven't played the game in a long time, and last time I did, I know I used a lot of mods, including ones that changed selling merchant mechanics. I probably haven't played completely vanilla Oblivion since, probably, 2006.

So I get it. But I still prefer how Skyrim handled merchants

That is how it should work.

Oh god. Agree to disagree. I HATED how Skyrim did merchants. Every good dungeon run required you to go to almost every shop in every city in a row to sell the loot. Super annoying.
