There is no anti-cheat in this game. It even has cheat console commands built-in.

Let's go with the conspiration theories.. are you 'merican?

This is the standard TOS/EULA of Bethesda, they don't tailor it for every game they release. It is the same for Skyrim, Starfield or Young Blood. It is the same also for Oblivion.

Do you really think they tailor a new EULA for every game?

well that's a relief.
It's pretty funny and telling that they don't even read their own EULA.

Quoting the entire OP on the first page like he's going to be confused who you're talking to.

Thanks for confirming. This was a major sticking point for me. I had suspected as much but as I'm currently downloading, I couldn't confirm for myself as of yet.

they don't really need to. if it covers all the bases then they can use it even if parts don't apply to the individual product.
You can use console commands to turn yourself into a god, you can spawn just about any item in the game, you can teleport to anywhere on the map you know the command for, you can even spawn in a unicorn to ride.

Anti-cheat? What Anti-cheat?
B-but it disables achievements
Baka already released a fix for that

Meanwhile, back in the real world.....

crazy that you can't even ask a simple question about what is objectively written in the EULA without being accused of some insane strawman nonsense. The internet is truly a sh*thole.

I love the notion that gamers are supposed to read and understand the EULA for every game they buy, but game companies don't even bother to write one for every game they make. That is some good old ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Do you really think massive AAA companies shouldn't at least remove the parts of the EULA that don't apply to whatever game they're releasing? Do you think its OK for them to leave obviously confusing and misleading things in their EULA's just because they're cheap and lazy?

Sorry for questioning your billion dollar company. I'm sure they'll be grateful that you're defending them on the steam forums.

yes. lawyers have better things to do, like spend the obscene amounts of money they make. if it doesn't have consequences then it doesn't matter.
