FPS drop after the last Nvidia Drivers?
Hi People, Yesterday night I was playing without problem the game, but today I downloaded the lastest drivers of Geforce Nvidia, 576.02 and now when I enter the game, I have a terrible frame drop, and game runs really bad, I read to more people that the problem is the last drivers, anyone know how to solve it? I can't play and is a completely disaster, thanks

anyone?
No idea. I have a 3060, and almost everything is low, and I'm running in a super low resolution, and still get 20-30 fps. But I'll keep my eye on this thread to see if anyone else has any ideas. The game isn't written to perform well at low frame rates, so everything is *super* laggy. It's almost unplayable.

Now I enter the game and in the main menu I have no problems, even 190fps, but after a few minutes, the game just stay freezed, and then crash, now I don't know if Im the problem, my pc, my gpu, or the problem are they or the nvidia drivers...what a mess, and what a disaster, I just want to play this great game, but always appear a problem in almost all the new games
I updated my Nvidia drivers last night and my game is performing identical from what I can tell. Im using a 4080 Super 16GB, 32GB ram, i7-14700KF. I play with my settings locked at 60fps and it doesnt really fluctuate that Ive noticed, indoors or outdoors.
Nvidia drivers have been really bad for the last couple months. There was an article of developers asking players to revert to a certain Nvidia driver number before Nvidia screwed it all up
You are a lucky guy then, because I've been reading here and on reddit and a lot of people have a lot of problems, crashes, sluttering, fps drop, everything, so just enjoy while you can
Well, I turned postprocessing/hair/cloth quality down to "low", and it didn't seem to make a difference, soI exited in disgust. Then went back in. And now I'm at 60fps and everything is fine.
My problem now is that it doesnt matter what I turned or not turned, because now the game just crash after a minute in the main menu, so now I can't even play, no matter the quantity of fps, a completely disaster.

That doesn't sound normal for this game and a 3060.

I have the 12gb 3060 and get 50-60 on high settings when outdoors with DLSS on balanced and Lumen RT off, I get the odd drop to like 40-45 rarely. This is at 1080p. I'm not using latest drivers though, think mine are pretty old.

But 20-30 on low seems like other issues at play.
Whats your ram amount and CPU?

man, on my rtx 5090 i have 45 fps on 4k with dlss off, if i turn on dlss ultra performance i have 45 fps also. so yeah. and the card started bouncing between 60% power to 110% power.

with this latest driver.

I have a i7-12700K, and 128GB of RAM. I have the 12GB 3060 also. But it did speed up when I put those to low. But I'd like to play on high! :)

Same GPU and I'm getting a frame drop down to 4-5 fps for a good 10 seconds every minute of gameplay. I'm still in the freakin tunnels of the starting prison. Updated my drivers that were as old as December 15th or Dec 10th of 2024 and its the same issue.
The current drivers nearly fried my 3070ti because of a bug that prevents temp and voltage sensor reading after PC wakes from sleep. So my fans were not working and my voltage was stuck.

There is a hotfix maybe you should try ==> https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/563719/announcing-geforce-hotfix-driver-57615-released-42/
Thanks you all

I’m having the same issue, from what i gather there’s an issue recompiling shaders but i can’t find a solution that works..
