Can't hold Use key to Drag items -- anyone know a fix ?

When I try to drag something, like move an item, pull a body and so on it won't let me. It's like instead of holding down my use key it's press-releasing it rapid-fire like. I tried changing the use key to different keys, but same result.

Anyone know a fix for this ?

Game doesn't register "long press" as keeping the use key depressed, but rather registers a press as "press + release" at same time.

I found a solution

1. Go to \steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData folder.

2. Find and edit the file Oblivion.ini

3. Look for the line --> bUse Joystick=1 (located under [Controls]

4. Change it to --> bUse Joystick=0

5. Save file and restart game.

For me, everything registered immediately as a long press and it was aggravating as hell trying to pick stuff up so I refunded until they fix this. It's kind of a mess right now

First time I played, I had the opposite issue, I could hardly pick up things into the inventory because they all started to move around. But the next day, it suddenly worked as expected.

No idea why, but I'm not complaining. Maybe there's an issue with changing keys and updating that particular setting while the game is still running. So if you have a problem there, just restart the game and see if that helps. Should be easy, since you can safe anywhere almost anytime. :)

I'm using Mouse & Keyboard, btw., picking up Items is on the first mouse button for me.
