game crashes the moment i approach the door of main tower in the kavatch oblivion gate,

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics
16.0 GB ram
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

I've already tried steam verify, running as admin, and removing the engine/plugins/marketplace/nvidia files, to no success.

Here's a forum I found on Reddit it helped out a lot, but you're using Nvidia Instead of AMD so might be a little different on your end..

ya I get a similar crash where it crashes when I open the door in the Kvatch Oblivion tower. The game also crashes pretty frequently (once per hour) in general. Getting tired of PC releases where I'm a beta tester.

I'm playing on game pass, and while I don't crash, I noticed my resource usage getting very high near the Kavatch gate.

tried turning down my graphics, didn't work. had task manager up to see if i could find anything there, nothing looked wrong... sigh

also turn on frame gen people, but if your game is crashing it's likely graphics drivers

Hey so this exact problem happened with me, and it was because my save file got corrupted. All I did to fix it was I reloaded a different save about 10 minutes before the corrupted autosave and the game loaded fine. This exact error in the original post would pop up and the game would crash whenever that corrupted autosave was loaded.

100% crashing once exiting the oblivion gate after clicking on the sigil stone. tried PC xbox app version, tried xCloud version on same save, and tried Series X, always crash 100%.

Not sure if it's worth starting over

Just like the user before me, I’m crashing precisely at the part when removing the first sigil stone in the gate.. tried loading a previous save, no joy.
Nothing I do seems to work :/
