-Different background applications?
-Did you shut down or restart overnight?
-Did you take temperature or task manager load readings (processor, memory, gpu etc) that might help isolate the problem?
-anything else you can think of
Make sure you don't have firefox/chrome tabs open when you play. They can hog ram and 16gb feels like barely enough for me.
Ive noticed that it will use up to 22gb of RAM on its own. Its just that if the game doenst flush its memory cache every so often you just run out of memory and it crashes. Its not a memory leak, it just uses a ton of it at once.
Also dont forget to do obvious things like restart, close all applications, follow up and delete extra files and directories manually after you do an uninstall, things like that. If it worked before, you can get it to work again. Though there's no guarantee the problem wont recur after your initial play session.
Was working fine last night too, today... its a s^&$ show.
