All the top voted positive reviews are fake

Every single overly voted positive review on the store page is just advertisement. Some of them even out right lie about the game saying this game was built from the ground up and if you point this out then your comments will be deleted. The reality of the situation is that this remake was made to recoup loses from Starfield which is why it feels like it came out of nowhere. It was done with outsourced cheap Chinese labor. Just look up the Environment artists names because not a single one is English. You'd think a western game company would use devs from their own country but obviously that's not true. It's also the biggest reason this game is on the unreal engine.

Bethesda game studios laid off a ton of people during and after Starfield's development. They even lost devs after Fallout 4 and during 76 but it doesn't compare to the layoffs made after Starfield. So what happens when you lose your workforce that has been upgrading an in-house engine for their own specifications? You lose knowledge on the operations of the code. This is why Unreal is used because cheap new hires only know unreal. Why are a lot of devs using unreal? Well if you really have been paying attention to the industry then you'd know about layoffs all across AAA. Now AAA companies that have had in-house engines, some of which were made beautifully, are abandoning them because they lost the coders of said engines. No matter how much you can complain about the Creation Engine switching to Unreal was never the solution and so was laying off the talent that made all your games great.

I love this game and series as much as many of you but please let this old beast die and lay to rest before it suffers anymore.

Unreal was used because it's vastly better than Gamebryo, but yes, whatever makes you happy :)

"This was the first game my mom bought me for my xbox 360 back in the day this game is so special to me and its awesome to see it the way i saw it when i was younger. my mother has since passed from cancer in 2023 and playing this brings back memories of her."

Top rated review. Certainly looks like an advertisement to me, not a nostalgia trip.

The Bethesda stream yesterday literally says that the physical assets were built from the ground up and they showed footage of the artists building those assets. So, you know.

As an American, Chinese make good products cheap products now and animation/games, so i'm not complaining. They literally have everything, if you angry get angry at corporations and the government you think china blew up magically? USA along with republicans and democrats supported it 100% and now they pretend that they're angry at china for the united states making them huge?

If anything good, American's won't be able to create ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with education being gutted and healthcare being slashed even further. China and BRICS is the future. Trump ensured that. China is expanding itself and making allies across the world, USA is very hostile to even its own allies now.

None of the code was built from the ground up unlike the original game. Modders also make meshes from the ground up.
