“Sparkling” around edges?

I’m running on a RTX 3060, I have DLSS on balanced, but I’m getting some pretty agressive “snow” around the edges? Is it a lighting issue or is DLSS struggling to keep up? Had to lower settings to medium.

What resolution are you playing on? My guess is 1080P because UE5 in general just looks like ass on lower resolutions.

A lot of UE5 games have this issue (and games in other engines have similar issues with "noise" at the edges of the screen). Generally it occurs in the area that would be over-scanned slightly by a TV. I just set my television to "Full" instead of "Direct", which adds a small amount of overscan and hides the noise.

I had it set to Fullscreen on my monitor, I guess maybe I’ll set it to Borderless Window?

turn off dlss and use tsr, problem solved

dlss is off and does it with all AA and upscaling settings (even if both are turned off)

No Trvor the problem wasn't solved, but what did turn it off entirely was Screen Space Reflections. I suppose now is the decision on how much I want that setting compared to how much the little sparkling on the edges of the screen bothers me. Ahh, PC gaming.
