I like it tho
It's not that crazy. The remaster is still running the original Gamebryo/early Creation Engine underneath. Unreal Engine 5 is only being used to swap out textures and audio.
Almost all of the bugs that were in the original game will still be present in the remaster, since the remaster is pretty much just that - it's the original game with a $60 Unreal Engine 5 texture pack mod slapped on top of it.

Erm pretty sure that was always a thing unless they removed lockpicks breaking, as I remember they used to break, I may be wrong though its been ages since I played oblivion.
