IS there a video on how they made the game in Unreal Engine?
I didnt think it would be possible unless maybe the game is running two engines at the same time? How do they get Unreal engine to handle all the RPG elements?

From what I gather, it's still the old Gamebryo Engine underneath, but the Unreal Engine is the one that does the graphical rendering.

This game is like the Terminator. The robot skeleton is the Creation Engine, and the living skin at the top is Unreal Engine.

correct creation engine is running all the ai and whatnot unreal handles the graphics
The game is running in two engines at once.

It's still the old original oblivion in there, with unreal changing visuals and they tweaked some gameplay elements but otherwise it's the same oblivion in there.
Jesus christ its like people slept on Gta Trilogy
Its the same tech from 4 YEARS AGO
It appears to be both games running together much in the same way Halo 1 Remaster works. I've been digging into the original pak files and everything from the original oblivion is there. All unreal engine seems to be doing is just running a new graphics renderer on top of it.

All the gameplay, physics and jank is still running from the old gamebryo engine.

Yes, same old game engine with all the bad physics, ai and pathfinding but with nice graphics on top.
There are explanations. They basically copied the original gaming engine into UE5 then updated graphics.
