maybe they wanted it to look more apocalyptic with the oblivion gates, looks more scottish highlands. Im partial to autumn colors so I kinda like it, though some other elements I dont agree with like the Ayleid ruins just look like regular stone now instead of the bright white they used to be

I haven't gotten that far yet but in the original the oblivion gates had an aura around them that actually made the environment brown and dull, bit odd to brown the game before the gates even have spawned

Yoiu can already grab reshade presets that help turn the game back into the more lush, green presentation. However it comes at a very noticeable FPS drop, which isn't great given the already steep requirements (and arguably poor optimization)

I wish there was an actual color fix instead of running a reshade on top of everything, indoors are usually bad with reshade
