Quest help (Odiil Farm) - Killing Field
So I made my way towards Odiil farm to fight the goblins with 2 sons. Once we got there, we were attacked by a group of 40 goblins, seems very excessive and more or less impossible to keep the two sons alive during this battle! Is this a glitch where it spawns far more enemies than it should? Surely you can't seem to keep the two sons alive during this.... Any thoughts?

Same. Apparently the original had lesser than the remastered so this must be a mistake. I managed but the sons died in horror- I mean honor. Poor bastards

Also, the quest finished even tho 2 more waves came in so I'm guessing there's issues here need fixin. Hopefully my other orc character can do it better than my breton if that fix comes

Thanks for the feedback! least I know i wasn't the only one. I reloaded the save and tried a couple more times and it seemed to fix itself so that's fine.

Change your frame rate. Also it bugs.
I had that happen, then I reloaded and it went back to normal numbers of maximum 2-3 at a time. Game was stuttering and acting weird. Adjusted some settings with smoothed out the game and it triggered the normal 1 to 3 spawns.

huh, Will try this with my orc character
Same! I lost count but it was INSANE! Even after I got the pop up telling me the Goblins were defeated, and I needed to return to the father, there was a never-ending horde of Goblins that pursued me! They never stopped coming. I didn't know to reload, as I later found out. So, the sons died.

Haha I wonder if there is actually a way to make this bug interesting.. as in perhaps leading a horde of goblins into a major city as your own personal army, that also wants to kill you..

Thank you so so much always had issue with this quest, seems like all the original bugs from Oldblivion carried over one for one into UE5 Oblivion, basically after the first wave there was like 20 or so goblins with two ambusher boss level goblins. My framerate was at 144hz and setting frames down to 60 fixed it to three waves of 3-4 goblins each. Fun as a concept to fight a horde but not great when it just makes the quest impossible.
