Constant crashes
Hello everyone. I really love the game, but it keeps crashing all the time. After I exited the sewers the problem started. I can´t play the game for more than 5 minutes, and I get crashes all the time.

The error I get is:
An Unreal process has crashed: UE-Oblivion Remastered
LoginId: some big code with numbers and letters
EpicAccountId:

I verified my files, the software is running in admin mode, all my drivers are up to date.

Thank you.

My game won’t even load before it crashes.

Glad to see I’m not the only one having these issues.

I think i might found a fix... run oblivionremater.exe as administrator and set it ingame at borderless window. For me that works fine, no more crashes. Hope they will do some performance fixes

Try BETA drivers? It's Bethesda.

Yeah, even with the Optional AMD driver the game still crashes for me, but it happens after 20 minutes or so, and only when I exit from a house to a town

I turned of RT and the crashes stopped.
Seems like V-Sync might have something to do with it. My primary monitor was set for 59,94Hz (for some reasons unknown to me), I have changed it to 144hz and turn off V-Sync. My FPS jumped to 160+ (from 60 max, which was a surprise to me) and now it all works without any problems or crashes! Might wanna try that :)

This game needed another couple months to iron out the performance issues IMO. I've also had a bug where my character is constantly on fire (visually, not taking damage), only reloading an old save fixed it. Overall just a lot of annoying ♥♥♥♥ to deal with.
Infinite loading is driving me insane. Putting the game on hold til some patches

Probably memory leak, should monitor how much it's using as you play. Needs to be patched.

I just picked up the original and it's crashed 8 times within 90 mins... anybody else had this issue? would just search but is burried in remaster posts
Absolutely needs to be patched.
It is crashing constantly on PlayStation also. Unfortunately they have a history of releasing games with serious issues. Skyrim crashed a lot too, and the game file grew without end bricking some machines and still they won game of the year before they had fixed any of the issues. Seeing this again it seems obvious they're aware of these issues upon release and don't care.

It's done! You just need to delete sl.pcl.dll file at:
Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\nvidia\DLSS\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64

Even if you have AMD.

Also, if you have AMD, you need go to AMD Adrenaline — Games — Graphics, use Default and don't activate anything.

That's all!

I'm having the same issue but with a 4080 super
No idea if it will help you, but it's worth a try:
I switched from full screen mode back to borderless window and haven't had any crashes since - for over 5 hours. And I also disabled V-Sync.
Good luck.
