Constant crashes
Hello everyone. I really love the game, but it keeps crashing all the time. After I exited the sewers the problem started. I can´t play the game for more than 5 minutes, and I get crashes all the time.

The error I get is:
An Unreal process has crashed: UE-Oblivion Remastered
LoginId: some big code with numbers and letters
EpicAccountId:

My Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 5500
16gb of ram
AMD Radeon RX 6700

I verified my files, the software is running in admin mode, all my drivers are up to date.

Thank you.

I have the same issue, and many others on AMD hardware also do. Thinking very much of getting a refund as this is the ONLY game I have ever seen do this. And I don't trust Bethesda to fix it anytime soon.
They won't give it I tried twice and they refused because my time was over 2 hours.

Same issue + more. i9-13900K, RTX 4090

If I have the game running at 2160p with DLSS on I get RGB pixels flickering everywhere on the screen. If I change to XeSS, sometimes, it stops the RGB pixels flickering everywhere.

Weirdly if I drop it to 1440p they go away. Game has VRAM management issues?

Either way in both scenarios getting GPU crash dump triggered crash to desktop so frequently the game is basically unplayable for me

make sure you don't have the Onedrive backups active.
Head to onedrive settings, remove the documents folder backup.
Game crashes because it can't find the settings file, since your onedrive is automatically moving anything from documents to his own online backup system.
4070, and same issue. Updated drivers, etc. This does appear to be an issue with the game dev not knowing how to develop in UE5. I do hope they get this resolved quickly.

Same here on 9070 XT.

It looks like this happens when you open or close the UI Overlay (means: when you loot, when you open / close map, inventory, etc.). At least in my case. I can run for hours and it's fine but then after few times, like 2-4, closing and openign the overlays it crashes. :)

That's exactly what it is. It tends to happen when I'm looting something, but even if I pause the game and go away for like 15 minutes, when I come back and unpause, it crashes.

I've only crashed one time thankfully, but it was while doing a bunch of alchemist brewing. Was a rather annoying thing to do all over again.... I have become the potion seller and my potions got too powerful.
I have just disabled resizable bar in the bios not had any crashes for a while.
Just commenting to say I’m having the exact same issue with the same code. AMD driver.
I fixed this issue by finding this file

Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\nvidia\DLSS\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64

and then deleting this file

sl.pcl.dll
and
sl.pcl

hope this helps someone
I have the same issues with similar specs. I've been troubleshooting for hours and haven't found a solution yet.

My system isn't crashing anymore but the game now crashes when I try to save.
Crashing non stop.... AMD GPU. Real lame. I've also done all of the "fixes"
I’ve got the same specs and the same problem 😭🙄

I managed to fix my game. It's not crashing when opening the menus anyway. First, update your AMD software to version 25.4.1. Second, go into the AMD software and under Gaming → Graphics → choose the Default option, and make sure everything is disabled. This should do the trick. Hope it helps.
