character movement
okay so im actually struggling with aiming in the remaster.
ive noticed that whenever i move my character also turns in that direction. if i were to move backwards my character will start to look up, move forwards and my character slowly looks down. strafe left and my character also turns left etc.
this is proving a nightmare trying to aim with arrows and spells.
is it my game thats bugged or is this a "feature" with the remaster?

not seeing this on my end tbh. but i am having other jank. my use key wont let me pick something up without throwing it across the field im in, and overall, there is a lot of unreal engine jank that isnt present on the original which adds to the overall jankiness of the game and feels sluggish.

yeah its sluggish alright. im spamming interact to seach a dead body and a second later it opens up the inventory. its slow.
honestly its impossible to aim.

i know what the problem is. youre proabably using WASD. i bind my movement to the numbers on the right of the keyboard 8462. being left handed i use the mouse in my left hand so i cant use wasd. i bound to those keys and i dont have the turning problem.

there are hidden binds the devs dont want you changing.

Yup, I'm a lefty, and found this out as well. I also use the numpad for movement. 8 and 2 on the numpad are both locked/hidden keybinds for look up and look down. I've searched every nook and cranny to find the .ini file that has these and I've come up unsuccessful.

I'm going to subscribe to this OP incase we find something.

I started playing the Game Pass Version yesterday evening. Since I'm left-handed I use 4568 on the numpad as replacement for WASD.

Using the numpad keys whenever I move forward the camera moves upwards. All other directions are fine.

Since I only wanted to check out the game for a couple of minutes I switched to controller, which was also unplayable. The camera is fine using a controller, but my character randomly stops moving, like it's getting stuck in the environment or running into an invisible wall. I have to move into another direction first before being able to move in the original direction again.

I came here to see if the Steam version has the same problems and wasn't disappointed. There's a couple more people here mentioning either OP's bug or mine.
