GAME WONT OPEN

FInished downloading/installing the remaster, clicked "play".... button switches to "stop" as if the game is opening as usual. A few seconds pass and button reverts to "play" and nothing further happens. I try the file integrity tool, I try rebooting my computer, I try uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing works.
