fallout 1 & 2 where retro-futuristic. How people in the 50´s imagined the future then the apocalypse on top of that.
Bethesda´s version is some sort of caricature of the 50´s but in a apocalyptic future.
It´s not the same.
Not sure I would want Bethesda to touch the originals, I´m sure there´s a lot of stuff they would not be able to help themselves from changing or censoring.
I´ll pay 20 bucks for some upscaling and gamepad support though.
All that said ..I overall didn´t think much of Starfield..but SOME of the writing and ideas in it was really really good, like top notch sci-fi.
It is unfortunately stuck in the outdated clunky mechanics and overall lackluster world-building of Starfield.

I meant "Bethesda" the publisher, not the game dev studio. That thing died when Starfield was released.
