7.5 hours in, I haven't had this much fun playing a recent release in a while (I know it's a remaster but still)

Runs quite well on my 5 year old computer on high settings but I had to use DLSS balanced so visuals are a little blurry but honestly not bad at all. Lovely looking game overall

I think the main downside here is lack of official modding support, though maybe the community will be able to come up with something

I think it's worth it, just ignore all the weirdos making such a big deal about the body type name thing, on both sides theyre going too far haha

Hopefully you get to play it soon!
Horrible. Refunded after 1 hour due to crashes, performance issues, and the fact they didn't address enemy level scaling (I tested it using the console command to level repeatedly).

dirty.
That is one thing I forgot to mention, though I remember enemy scaling being really bad in normal oblivion anyways. Hopefully they fix it soon but not game changing for me at least

This is my true, first time playing Oblivion. I've touched it once or twice in the past, but the dated graphics and UI melted my desire fast.. I know, sad, right?
(playing on gamepass because todd doesnt get my cash) Unplayable. Hours of getting errors and memory full errors while the game is still running behind the error in full ultra settings. its unfathomably broken. After 2 or 3 hours of retrying and looking up troubleshooting I finally get to make a character and do the sewer area and as im leaving to enter the main world and finish the tutorial it hard bricks my pc. Now the game will not launch half the time same as before and even when it does i go to leave the sewer and my pc bricks or i get another out of memory message as it loads seamlessly behind the error message until i close it and it force closes the game.
it's a lot of fun and really beautiful but the world does feel quite small in comparison to modern open world games.

Once performance gets iron'd out via patches or mods on the open world, it'll be great. That's my only nitpick with it.
i not very happy. Every time i go through an instance door it feels like it takes forever to load the next environment.

Why can't I leave items in Chests or barrels now?
it runs like ♥♥♥♥ for me. npcs standing still or invisible half the time. stutters and dips below 20 fps constantly.

Hopefully you can enjoy this one :AwesomeS:
People who have problems running it, what hardware and drivers do you all have? Just curious because I remember hearing people having issues with recent drivers with games so idk if that's not helping

Love it to death, its so dang good. Best remaster or remake I have ever played. Same great Oblivion but with a new coat of paint and awesome QOL improvements.

It is a 2006 game where there wasn't many open world games tbf on that scale.

Not like it matters its still more alive than GTA5 will ever be.

100% and taking things slow. After 7 hours of dungeon diving and walkign around, I'm Level 7 and just got to the place where you find Jeffere. Now the next time I play, I'm probably going to join The Fighters Guild.. Figured a Two-Handed Steel wielding Paladin ought to fit right on in.
