My game launches, goes to black screen, crashes to desktop
No error code, no message, nothing. It just closes and I cannot play the game. I updated my drivers and my system, but nothing worked.

I did find this that worked for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/oblivion/comments/1k59yj5/comment/mogha86/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Go to: Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\nvidia\DLSS\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64

and delete or rename the file sl.pcl.dll
Bump to

This worked, thank you
Having a similar issue. Game worked yesterday for a few hours. Saved and exited OK. Then 3 hours later tried to launch it again and get a black screen for a minute then crash to desktop. Exception code 0xC0000005 Thread tried to read/write a virtual address to which it does not have access.

Have rebooted but same issue. Cleared shader cache but same issue. Deleted sl.pcl.dll but same issue.

Graphic drivers are up to date. Verified files and had one missing file (verified before deleting that file above) and did not specify which file was missing.
