WOW. Thats bad that its running that way then. I figured you were doing 4k with ray tracing up real high.
Are you playing on 3440x1440? Thats what I use.
nahh 1920x1080. I don't get why i'm getting these frame drops i thought DLSS would help but it actually runs worse with it on.

If you have the Nvidia Reflex turned on, than turn it off. I didnt realize how much FPS it took. I was bouncing between 45-55 FPS outside the sewers on high settings and DLSS set to Quality. I turned it off and it bounced up to mid 60s to low 70s. 3440x1440 and a 3080 with a 5800x3d, 32gb ram. Nothing amazing but it works. I might drop the res a bit, we'll see.
4070. No issues. Slight hiccup when I entered main world but smooth ever since regardless of the cell I am in so far.
I unfortunately requested a refund because I don't think my system meets the requirements. My computer automatically set everything to low quality and the game was still choppy once I was out of the sewers. I am not an expert on PC Specifications, but if the game developer sees this or a user that has similar setup/computer I would like some tips on what upgrades might would be best to make or if I would need a higher end computer altogether?

Device name ROG-STRIX
Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
Device ID 5C26AEC2-3520-4263-995F-E347D0A74772
Product ID 00330-54126-29550-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Thanks for any advice for anyone who reads this.

Forgot to add that my Rog-Strix is a laptop as well.

I was having a similar issue. Running with a RTX 3090 myself. Sewers/Tutorial ran beautifully. Could hardly reach 60 FPS once I was outside. Swapped from DLSS over to FSR and turned on FSR Frame Gen. I get over 100 FPS outside now, game looks better and a bug I had trying to loot corpses is now fixed (it would constantly think I'm trying to drag the corpse not loot it).

Also over on NexusMods I downloaded the Engine tweaks/fixes file someone put up and that's helped a ton with the stuttering even before I swapped from DLSS to FSR. I think DLSS is just poorly implemented on this game.

I tried FSR Framegen but the input lag is horrendous lol

there were quite a few about performance. they just got overshadowed by people who want to virtue signal to their "side" that they are super cool and hate/like the thing everyone else on their discord hates/likes.

Agreed. Its too bad people have to come on and flood threads with that BS. Im very political, but when I come on here Im looking for answers and to share things about games.

There are plenty of threads here and discussions on Reddit talking about it tf are you even talking about? Problem is idiots flooding the pages with nonsense discussions about body 1 or 2

I have a 3070ti 8gb, i7 12700KF, 32gb 3200mhz of ram, and I am running at default settings(mostly set to high with dlss set to balanced and no ray tracing) at 1080p Game feels real choppy at default settings and random massive fps drops from 100 to 40 then shooting back up. It does not feel smooth at all. Almost looks like I am getting screen tearing even though I have a G-sync 144hz monitor.
