UE5 is a plague. Creation Engine was better.
Yet another visually mediocre looking game with 2-3x the performance cost of objectively superior looking titles like Horizon Forbidden West.

Not only that, but it's full of temporal slop that can't be mitigated short of increasing resolution scaling beyond 100%, or using other performance destroying techniques like DSR/DLDSR - again, just like every other UE5 title.

When is this monstrosity of an engine going to be abandoned finally? KCD2 demonstrated that better 3rd party options exist. So can we put an end to this unearned monopoly now?

Also, people leaving positive reviews for this pile of excrement with only 0.5 hours need to have their purchasing power revoked for the good of society.

This engine being basically mainstream adopted by AAA and indie devs, along with absurd gpu price increases with basically no significant perf uplift gen on gen or even 2 before, will ruin pc gaming for sure. Slop being created so you can buy your 700 dollar 70 class gpu just for you to play the blurry rt mess of a slop on medium settings at 1080p
Without creation engine no quest mods or gameplay overhaul. Some of yall got what ya asked for I guess, thanks for ruinning it for the rest of us!

CryEngine is not, has never been, and never will be better than Unreal Engine. Come on now

Yeah man, why the hell did they choose UE5. A missed oportunity to improve their in-house engine. Even though I have a new pc which can run it acceptably, the engine itself is not good at all. The worst thing of this is the possibility that TES VI is also being made on UE.

It should of been made in Godot.
p.s. Game play is more important than graphics.

I still havent bought it but I think it looks good on the videos, the problem is that it could be running better on a better engine and more players could enjoy it in better performance. UE is an elitist engine, probably built to favor high end hardware sales.

Out of all the disingenuous trolling this forums has seen today, this one takes the cake.

You're all really going to hate the future when you're stuff is even more outdated. This is running well on current consoles. Sure at a lower level but cmon man. You own a PC. Learn how to use it and know what the hell is going on. New consoles come out in 2027. You better upgrade your stuff or you don't stand a chance in hell of running ANYTHING except your old games.
Hating UE5 is no reason to praise the flaming trainwreck that is the Creation Engine.
Agree, I really don't care for UE5. The combination of bloom and vivid green forests really gave Oblivion its identity. That's lacking here.

I hate UE5 because developers don't use lumen correctly. Do not use lumen for light sources and sunlight, it is literally everywhere. Light sensitive people can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ see with how bright the damn game is. Lumen being for short bursts of particle effects is its best use, either that or something that you don't have to pay attention to.
Looks great on my PC. Maybe upgrade your ♥♥♥♥ and it'll look better for you
