Thieves Guild Wood Elf not showing up

Wood elf won't show up so I can't start the quest, any ideas?

it'll disable achievements but open the console and type player.Moveto 00035642 and see if the elf girl is stuck somewhere

you can also try using the command Moveto player 00035642 to try and teleport the npc to you and see if that unsticks the quest

I ran from Armand to the tavern on the water, where the wood elf appeared and went to the meeting place, after which the quest began.

Ok this worked for me. after midnight waiting by where you start the quest i just took off went into a house came back and the wood elf was there and i could start the quest. I'd say give that a shot.

I used console commands to find her and for whatever reason she was in Jair's Shack, one of the other buildings on the waterfront. All I had to do was step inside and she immediately left as I entered and walked around to the meeting spot.

OK got mine working by

Going to the meeting at just past midnight. Amusai was there but not the wood elf. I ran and moved the horse, broke into Janair's house, left and then fast travelled from the spot near where you land from the fast travel in waterfront and on return she was finally there. Not sure which did it but it only took a minute. Just glad I can do my second favourite guild story!
