[SOLVED] Clouds saves between Steam Deck and Windows
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames

Your save files are being saved there, but cloud saves are being stored in 2 places on Windows that the cloud save can't see. On your OneDrive.

I had to find this out by making a new character with a silly name, running a search on my computer to find where the save file for said silly named character was being saved and move all of my OneDrive cloud saves into there.

This worked.

Where were the new save files located?

I've copied my saves to both folders - I can see the cloud save now in the cloud when I check properties, and in fact I can see the save files on my second device but the game still won't recognise them - it's in both the onedrive and non-one drive folder.

When I start the game on device 2, I can literally see the game saves being downloaded and added to the SaveGames folder.

So as it turns out, I needed to make a new character like you did and then save FIRST. THEN move the gamesaves into the one drive folder. So dumb... But thanks for the help!
Where would I need to move my save files to be able to access them on my steam deck?

What I would do to figure that out, and it's a bit of a weird way to do it but it's the best way I can think of for sure.

You're going to basically find where it stores your saves by auto-searching the save files name.

Make a new character with like a very weird name, something that is unlikely to accidentally be the name of something else on your Deck.

Make a note of the characters name, write it down, case sensitive as well.

Create a save file with that new character on your deck, then exit out of the game into desktop mode.

Now in your steam decks file explorer, put your character name into the search bar and there you will be able to find where oblivion remaster is creating save files on your deck... then just drag and drop your save files into there from whatever other setup you were playing on.
