You have a GPU issue. Update drivers first and try again.

1. go to https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/237719/ download the driver
2. find ddu on the net to remove the old drivers
3. boot into windows safe mode
4. fire up ddu uninstall your old drivers
5. install your new drivers
6. reboot

I had the same issue. Some Nvidia graphics cards uses some AI modules that can cause a crash. i just deleted the module and game runs great.

if you cannot find the file location
-run game
-crash
-go to windows event viewer
-get location of file causing the error
-if its a module like "sl.pcl.dll", its AI causing game to crash; delete it
-if not that, use event viewer to find file causing you a problem and proceed from there.

I also have this issue. I restarted it and somehow it fixed it. The problem is, that my CPU is 90%. Wft man.

what does that mean?

*coughs* if nvidia > delete your shader cache in your user profile > check nvidia control panel if your shader cache is set to 'Unlimited' > try again *coughs*

PS: And in case you've got one of those unstable Intel chips crashing out on shader compilations > Update BIOS > Keep Fingers Crossed
