For people who got past the trauma of character creation (people everywhere are suffering but the desire of right wingers to not see type 1/type 2 is an equally valid reason to feel persecuted. Your feelings are real. Dumb, childish and entitled. But real), how does the game look and play?

I ask because to be honest in the gameplay vids I'm seeing it looks washed out and less colourful than the original. Also, is it being resource efficient or is it a bit of a hog?

Also, apparently the sound hasn't been improved, so am I basically just going to be buying a slightly visually updated version of this game with everything else, including combat, left the same?
