Did they fix the Leveling and Scaling system?
Oblivion is the only game in the series I consider to be an objectively awful game, when unmodded, due to the busted scaling. I have been sleeping under a rock and this sudden release caught me by surprise.

When they ,mention "refined gameplay" did they do anything to the leveling system? It's what completely ruined the original and makes it unplayable without mods.

Enemy scaling is exactly the same (except for low level enemies having a debuff) Once you hit level 8 or so everything is the same as original game.

Quest rewards scale the same with player level as well.

Only change is how player can put points into their skills.

Tbh scaling still seems incredibly broken. I leveled up relatively fast, I have no items, and a simple bandit at level 8 takes 70 arrows to kill on master.
Adept is now what master was at level 1.
It seems horrible.
... Do you know how dumb you sound? "I increased the difficulty to the max and now this enemy is taking longer to kill" wow

Leveling seems "fixed" (efficient leveling is gone, it's just 5,3, 1 luck), unclear if early endurance is better, very little wold scaling is happening for me and the enemies seem too easy on adept, will switch to hard tomorrow.

Yes, you get 12 points to a lot no matter what, should fix most of the issue

Leveling has been changed, or "fixed" if you will. Not my channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPWq8I95bdU

It appears scaling may still be a thing but it's not as bad since the leveling works better, or so I'm reading. I have not played. This is a major issue for me as well and one of the things I disliked most about Morrowind and Oblivion.

Already some mods to help alleviate this

There are already mods to fix it on nexus.

yep the scaling is still completely broken, just did kvatch on level 15 and after opening the gate to the Counts castle i met 8 Daedroth's, 10 Flame Atronachs and 2 Clannfears on top of that. 2025 still the same completely broken system - Its a joke

I'm not buying this if the level scaling system still works like the original.

It still works like the original, at least as far as monsters go. They still level with you and can actually out gear you if you haven't changed your gear in awhile.
You dont have to efficient level anymore because it just gives you the points to assign where you wish. That being said enemy leveling and levled quest rewards and all that is completely untouched as far as i have seen and ive seen quite a bit.

Wait so you want bandits to be slayed by looking at them when you reach level 20?
Yes...

In no way, shape, or form, should random bandits on the road be wearing enchanted daedric armor.

If they are going to scale enemies, all enemies should have a cap where they eventually stop scaling...
no, they should have the same cap as the player, or no cap at all..

I just killed them and stole their gear.

In games without enemy scaling I would find a high level character and outsmart them to kill them. Then I get OP gear early game. Gets boring though. lol

Nope, it seems the same to me. I'm on master difficulty, it takes me 4 hits not to kill rat and my shield almost fully blocks their damage. A rat still kills me in a few hits but without making any progress I'm now seeing timber wolves instead of just wolves so the game thinks I'm much stronger when I can barely kill a crab and is already dropping weak enemies and throwing even harder enemies at me. I think harder difficulty levels are completely broken to be honest.

you just need a strong build, on the contrary, I like that the enemies are strong and I need to be strong.
