32 GB of RAM?
I've never seen a requirement as high from any current AAA title. Why does the recommended system need that much RAM?

I'm playing at 4K completely max settings, 10-11GB VRAM and 10-12GB system RAM is where it sits most of the time (sometimes VRAM drops to under 8GB depending on where I'm at).

then why are you crying here?
OP lives under a rock. 32GB has been becoming the standard. This happens from time to time. It doubles every few years to a decade
I'm playing with 16GB of RAM and no issues, but I have a pretty bare bones Windows installation. You can MASSIVELY reduce how much RAM Windows uses if you just know what to uninstall or disable

is still valid til today, no games will hog 32gb of ram from your system unless is a VERY HORRIBLY made one like a guy learning game dev like garten of banban which was unoptimized like hell
Expect more of the same from AAA moving forward, you either upgrade eventually to play newer games, or you just don't play newer games.
Hopefully so i wont buy them anytime! i have more than 32 but i wont risk my pc becoming a jet turbine for a half baked game

32gb isn't a "requirement" per se, it's the recommend for those who want to max out all bells and whistles. In that context, it's extremely common now. Look at kingdom come 2's recommended spec. Heck, even 32gb is starting to be wanting for everything maxed out in AAA and 64GB is becoming more mainstream.
where you coming with this 64gb become standard . that a clown take . 32gb is enough for years . 64gb is only needed for those who edit and do other things
Lol, and PCMR said I was WaStInG mY MoNeY by buying 32gb of ddr3 and an fx octocore.

you dont really need more than 32gb for gaming, if a game asks your for more then it's REALLY horribly optimized
idk scrub, i have 128gb of RAM bc i play cities skylines. i dont have this problem

32GB of high quality RAM is just about 100-150 $ that's pretty cheap in my eyes.
No game is actually using 32gb of ram and if it does then you might have a very big memory leak
Cities Skylines.
Get used to it then. Windows 11 is a resource-hog.
