Ultrawide Resolution

I managed to get it to work in borderless windowed. Another resolution still appears, but it was definitely 5120x1440, but it shows as 3840x1080.

I had to change the files in F:\Games\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Oblivion.ini and change these parameters:

bIgnoreResolutionCheck=1

iSize W=5120

iSize H=1440

After

C:\Users\USERHERE\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\WinGDK\Enigne.ini

bFull Screen=1

bIgnoreResolutionCheck=1

iSize W=5120

iSize H=1440

I also changed the resolutions in GameUserSettings.ini and AltarGameUserSetting.ini. I changed the parameters to

bUseDynamicResolution=False

ResolutionSizeX=5120

ResolutionSizeY=1440

Immediately after that I changed all 4 files to read-only.

My `Enigne.ini` doesn't have anything like

bFull Screen=1
bIgnoreResolutionCheck=1
iSize W=5120
iSize H=1440

It just has a bunch of "Paths=../../../"

I play @32:9 5120x1440p and borderless windowed looks very good. I can't change my resolution either but I don't see a reason to.

Sounds like a patch is needed. I cannot select anything but 3840 x 1080P. Thats the max res it will allow for me. I know others can select 5120 x 1440; this game needs a patch. For reference I'm using a Samsung G95SD with a 4090 via display port. I've read several posts with people having issues.

i tried switching my windows monitor setting while the game is running, i've noticed the monitor stays 1080p for a while after closing. idk what is the cause, but it fixed it for me for now.

I can't select 5125x1440p but like I said the game looks just fine.

it DOES work on 3440x1440 ultrawide (UWQHD), 21:9, out of the box, just not dual QHD or higher. I'll copy and paste this in a text document for when I get my G9 later this year. Thank you.

I'm on Ultrawide and can't get anything above 3840x1080 regardless of what in-game settings I use or what my display settings are set at. Even if my display is not set at an ultra-wide resolution and instead is set at 16:9 and 3840x2160. Kind of silly honestly....
