For the folks upset about the body type backlash.
You seem to be confused. People dont like having ideology jammed down their throats. Most of us just want to play a game with a good story and relatable characters. Instead we get moralizing and lectures, told we're bigots because we dont agree/want the garbage being churned out.
I will happily watch from the sidelines as bethesda joins the list of defunct gaming companies.
I wouldnt even pirate this mess.

Oh right the great type a and type b ideology....

Like literally this is the opposite of an ideology politics or anything else. It's neutral. You are the peak of projection.

Pick the body type of the character you wish to play call it whatever gender you like and move on. Mister we just want to play games but look for any petty excuse not to.

Quite possibly the weakest criticism I've ever heard for any game. Cope and seethe because nobody outside of your bubble actually cares. You guys act like you can't create a guy or a girl in the game. A ROLE-PLAYING FANTASY game ffs. There are lizard and cat people in this game my guy. "The elves are shoving their ideology down muh throat."

I'm neither coping or seething. I'm aware that the gaming industry has been infected and I'm genuinely just tired anymore. Just thought i'd try to clarify a little bit in case people were confused. Telling people "its not for you" and insulting them for not liking something in a game is only ever going to push them to not buy and try to encourage others to not buy.
I assume you want the games to be good and the gaming industry to be healthy, but you have to realize that the people who BUY the games are not the people who are being aimed at recently.

It is an identifier so that other people can wrote write you off.
So if you identify that it does not concern you you have identified yourself as, "Independent"
An so from that I can start selling you on being a Democrat, an Ally, or what have you.

IF you strongly identify against Body Type, that informs me that you are a Bigot.
An I can entirely write off all your opinions and treat you like fascist scum bag that you are.

And this is current American politics.

"Agree with me or you're a fascist" you may wish to look that word up. you're actively diluting the meaning of it by trying to force your viewpoint on people who just want to be left alone.

lol i dont demand coddling and safe spaces. just to not have ideological BS jammed in my face. i dont care how you or anyone lives their lives. i just wanna be able to enjoy video games without being told im a bigot because i exist. i've done nothing to you or anyone else. i'll continue not doing anything to you or anyone else, eventually they'll run out of money or get the hint because there are more of me than you. This shows itself in the number of flops that have happened.
