Open up AMD Adrenalin > Gaming > The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Under Graphics, change Gaming Experience to "Default". I've also turned off the overlay in Steam and AMD Adrenalin before making that change, but that didn't seem to help. Could be a combination of the 3.

Same here, im on gamepass so i thought it mightve been from that but guess not. I guess it might be hardware issues then. Im using a ryzen 5700x3d and 6800

are you using FSR? Im going to try testing without upscaling and XESS to see if that fixes it

Upscaling options dont change it. I figured out it happens randomly when closing a menu (inventory or options) in the open world (not interiors so far). Only closing the game fixes it, but just temporarily till it happens again. Annoying af

It's happening to me as well. I'm running an Intel proc and a 6800 XT. Thinking it's AMD drivers or a setting in the AMD software since it can try to further optimise games beyond the in-game settings. Going to try killing it and seeing what happens without it running in the background.

Confirming I also have this issue and have AMD. Very annoying

Nope, this didn't work. Tabbing in and out of the map triggered it again...ugh.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

It never happened to me again after changing that setting. You should update the title of your post to be:

[FIXED] Glitch Causes everything to turn black

That'll help anyone else who stumbles across this.
Ok but you basically just disabled the AMD settings.
