are you using FSR? Im going to try testing without upscaling and XESS to see if that fixes it
Nope, this didn't work. Tabbing in and out of the map triggered it again...ugh.
Open up AMD Adrenalin > Gaming > The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Under Graphics, change Gaming Experience to "Default". I've also turned off the overlay in Steam and AMD Adrenalin before making that change, but that didn't seem to help. Could be a combination of the 3.
It never happened to me again after changing that setting. You should update the title of your post to be:
[FIXED] Glitch Causes everything to turn black
That'll help anyone else who stumbles across this.
