It's disabled, why? Should it be on? I don't know what it does, but it sounds like a stupid gimmick feature like most Nvidia features.
Edit: Also, DLSS is set to quality, I couldn't tell a difference between Quality and Native in this game, so I just left it on hoping it might be helping performance with no noticeable drop in quality. I heard DLSS is bugged and doesn't work, so that might be why it looks the same to me.
I know Helldivers 2 looks like crap if not set to native for me. And that game runs like crap regardless of what I do. 1440p native at 60fps is as likely to stutter in that as 1080p with DLSS. So I just figure it's a CPU problem, and it was.
I would keep it disabled. It ate some FPS and had no effect for this game.
that because in my PC, nvidia reflex is automatic ON from the begining, but i can not disable it, so my v-sync and capped FPS does not working at all.
sadly, the option about nvidia reflex on my TES 4 oblivion remaster in this steam, has gone (there is no nvidia reflex option), so i can not disable it.
Allow mommy:
Reflex gives a HUGE boost to Input Latency, when AND ONLY when using FrameGen feature..
When you don't use FG, only then Reflex is pretty much useless yes .. 😉
The interesting thing is, you can watch your avg fps tick down like a timer, even while you're in menus. This game has some serious memory leaks, either still, or newly introduced. I have to save and restart the game every few minutes, because I go from 70-80 avg to 12 in the span of like 6-7 minutes. It ain't fkn' normal, tfds
You never raided Molten Core with 40 players back in 2005-2006 i guess.
15 - 30 FPS was basically normality.
I have almost the exact same hardware. rx 3700x, rx 6600, 16gb ram.
I turn most everything to High settings with FSR3 Balanced, FreeSync Disabled, overlay disabled for AMD and Steam.
Use the Ultimate Engine Tweaks from Nexus mods. Its not amazing, buts its not nothing either. better frame times less stutters after shaders compile.(Make sure you delete the old shader compilation if you download, should only be 2-3 files to force the game to reset shaders, not entire folders like some suggest)
With all of this I run a stable 80Fps average, high 120, low 38(rainstorms). Crashes every few hours(Access violation or GPU Crash Dump)
if I drop settings down to medium i experience no crashes.
