Performance is terrible
Stuttering at all times when traversing outside . No matter GPU/CPU usage or settings, it is still there. Just what the ♥♥♥♥ were they thinking with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ engine

Update: Maybe now that DF made a video about it proving you wrong, all the misguided bethesda fanboys will finally calm down

50 hours in, can count the number of times the game dropped below 60 fps on one hand. One of those times was retaking Kvatch, where it stuttered for 2 seconds when the enemies all showed up. PC runs cool and quiet. I haven't really riden a horse in a long time though, I travel faster than it at my current speed, athletics, and acrobatics.

3080 10GB, i7-12700k, 1440p medium-high settings. 60 fps vsync on.

Old janky bugs every couple minutes, but the performance is perfect.

Is there nvidia reflex option in your game ?

It's disabled, why? Should it be on? I don't know what it does, but it sounds like a stupid gimmick feature like most Nvidia features.

Edit: Also, DLSS is set to quality, I couldn't tell a difference between Quality and Native in this game, so I just left it on hoping it might be helping performance with no noticeable drop in quality. I heard DLSS is bugged and doesn't work, so that might be why it looks the same to me.

I know Helldivers 2 looks like crap if not set to native for me. And that game runs like crap regardless of what I do. 1440p native at 60fps is as likely to stutter in that as 1080p with DLSS. So I just figure it's a CPU problem, and it was.

I would keep it disabled. It ate some FPS and had no effect for this game.

that because in my PC, nvidia reflex is automatic ON from the begining, but i can not disable it, so my v-sync and capped FPS does not working at all.

sadly, the option about nvidia reflex on my TES 4 oblivion remaster in this steam, has gone (there is no nvidia reflex option), so i can not disable it.
LoL you gals .. Reflex = Gimmick 🤦‍♀️ ..

Allow mommy:

Reflex gives a HUGE boost to Input Latency, when AND ONLY when using FrameGen feature..

When you don't use FG, only then Reflex is pretty much useless yes .. 😉
its not peoples pcs dont feel bad. i play on a 6600xt 16gbvram 32gb ram with a ryzen 9 processor gddr6 and i dont get much stutter do to the cpu but man does my fps suck lmao. they just need to patch and update it will become playable.

I have a RX7600 and yeah... I gave up on it, felt like a waste of money, hopefully they'll patch it

45 fps !??? What are you sniffing my boy ??? No realy , can mommy have some of that too 😏 ??

Never mind the amount of FPS.. The core essence of my point is, SMOOTH CRIMINIAL Micheal Jackson gameplay in ES IV Oblivion Remastered is ....
POSSIBRRUUUUUUUuuu (⇀‸↼‶)

Provided you watch mommy in realtime 🤭

The interesting thing is, you can watch your avg fps tick down like a timer, even while you're in menus. This game has some serious memory leaks, either still, or newly introduced. I have to save and restart the game every few minutes, because I go from 70-80 avg to 12 in the span of like 6-7 minutes. It ain't fkn' normal, tfds

Quadro RTX_8000 Dual Xeon 5218 with 64G DDR5 ecc in a Z8 - this game has a memory leak issue and I AM 120 hours in... BTW ONLY GAME on my system that crashes AT ALL and its almost a given it crashes on the last enemy in a room as my arrow hits from stealth - Ive tried every driver every combo of settings keeping at 1440p to be safe and no it sometimes is fine for hours - today It keeps crashing every 5 mins I GIVE UP - Shadow hide me I am tired of this

because it happens that the hardware implementation uses more CPU than the software implementation. This is UE5......
thats right thats (hardware lumen)

4070ti & 9800X3D w/ 32Gig DDR5 Ram. Smooth as butter but boatloads of crashes, usually around ragdolling Daedroth.

ok frame cap to 30 fps is perfect sure

You never raided Molten Core with 40 players back in 2005-2006 i guess.
15 - 30 FPS was basically normality.

UE5 is notorious for a$$ performance.

I have almost the exact same hardware. rx 3700x, rx 6600, 16gb ram.

I turn most everything to High settings with FSR3 Balanced, FreeSync Disabled, overlay disabled for AMD and Steam.

Use the Ultimate Engine Tweaks from Nexus mods. Its not amazing, buts its not nothing either. better frame times less stutters after shaders compile.(Make sure you delete the old shader compilation if you download, should only be 2-3 files to force the game to reset shaders, not entire folders like some suggest)

With all of this I run a stable 80Fps average, high 120, low 38(rainstorms). Crashes every few hours(Access violation or GPU Crash Dump)

if I drop settings down to medium i experience no crashes.
