Performance is terrible
Stuttering at all times when traversing outside . No matter GPU/CPU usage or settings, it is still there. Just what the ♥♥♥♥ were they thinking with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ engine

Hopefully some patch tweaks or something might fix it.
For me, I always turn down a lot of the minor settings I don't consider very immersive or relevant for the sake of never risking performance. And it generally works with games.
it was a dog for me at first, but after i updated my nvidia driver and rebooted it got way better

Runs fine on my Atari 2600

Seems like the small amount of people having problems may need to check the systems they play on.

Yup same system and definitely perf are not consistent...
You're playing the gamepass version aren't you? I am 99.99999% certain games on gamepass just run worse for some reason. I think it is likely because the Nvidia app doesn't recognize 98% of games on gamepass and is bugged with gamepass games.

I have a 5080 .. and even then many games just run like garbage not because my specs but because of gamepass. Games on steam have zero issues. But games on gamepass always seem to have issues for me.

Same. Funny how some are saying "I have an overpriced GPU with 12GB,
runs fine for me", and acting like the game is running how it's supposed without realizing their game is gimpped too. Lol
Welcome to UE5, the stutter is a feature (no I'm not joking)

Running on an RTX 3060 at max settings. Playing on 1360x768 since my monitor broke and I had to use an old one.
So far it’s fine but it does stutter for a brief moment when entering a new area.

Notice how everyone that is complaining about poor performance seems to not have the game on steam .. so they are likely playing on gamepass.. which is most likely the issue. I don't know how the f MS and Nvidia haven't fixed this yet, but it's been an issue for every single gamepass game. They all run like garbage, 98% isn't recognized by the nvidia app and it seems they are all bugged

On my laptop (mobile RTX 4070 8GB, i7-12650H) at 1440p with medium settings across the board (textures on ultra and hardware lumen on medium), DLSS balanced and no framegen, I'm getting 70+ FPS indoors and 45+ FPS outdoors. Haven't tested on my RTX 3090 / 9800x3D rig yet, but so far the only issue I'm seeing seems to be camera stutter. Frametimes are pretty consistent for not having gsync on, but there's a stutter when I move the camera. Either way, this is leagues ahead compared to Oblivion on release, where most computers were lucky to hit 30FPS at low settings and 1024x768 (not excusing it, just funny to think about)

Did you update to the latest nvidia drivers? There has been issues with the latest update. Google how to roll back to the recommended update.
Why is my cpu spiking so hard during the menu? I never had in any other game before.

I did, yes, but the issue is that MSI Afterburner doesn't read GPU temps correctly, which is a non issue unless you have a custom fan curve. VBIOS fan/temp curves still work, and Oblivion Remaster is the only game I'm getting camera stutters in

Gamepass unironically has 0 to do with it. Its not like how it was at launch where they were all "apps" and locked away. There is no in game overlay or anything. Its because this game is unoptimized UE5 slop. Just like all the other ue5 games have been. *SOME* Devs think DLSS/FSR and framegen make bad work acceptable.
